For now, a lot of people asked to read our vows so here they are:
Kimmie's to Steve
Steve,
From the moment I first saw you I was so fascinated by you. There was something about you that set you aside from anyone I had ever met. I have since discovered that it is because you are my soul's mate, the companion I was meant to share my life with. You are the most considerate, compassionate man I have ever met. Because of this I am able today to give you my respect and to promise to honor and trust you to be our family's leader. I vow to support your dreams and be inspired by them. You have already made all of mine a reality. I vow to love your family and accept them as my own. To take your children into my heart and give them all the love I can along with the daughter we created. You have risen to every challenge in our relationship and become even more the man and partner I need you to be. There is no doubt in my heart that as I stand here today that you are the man who will hold my heart in your hands for the rest of my life.
Steve's to Kimmie,
My Dearest Kimmie,
Like the sun shining on a cloudy day, you came into my life and warmed my heart. I had known love before you, love of family, friends and even love of another, but none had filled me with as much joy and contentment as the love you shower on me every day. You have opened me up to the greater power of love and its ability to overcome all obstacles. You have given me the greatest gift in life, joy and hope for the future. From this day on, for the rest of my life and into eternity I shall be at your side, guiding you, nurturing you, sharing with you and most of all, loving you. Whatever ups and downs may come our way, I know we will not only survive but flourish, because together we can accomplish anything. I have chosen you as my wife because with you at my side I know I will continue to grow and learn and one day I just might become the man I’ve always hoped I would be. I have always loved you and I can only pray that eternity will not pass too quickly so that I can continue to love you for all time.
